We are adding to our team and currently have a vacancy for a machinist to run our brand new SMEC (Samsung) SL2000BY CNC Lathe (Siemens Shopturn). You will also use our Dugard Lunan MF500 lathe (Siemens Shopturn).
Seadub designs, manufactures and reverse engineers components for the yachting industry which includes race boats and Superyachts. We are a small family run business looking for a versatile individual with a keen eye for detail. Our day-to-day operations are short production runs and one-offs.
This role involves programming (conversational), setting and operating with the Siemens control. Due to the nature of the work that Seadub undertakes, experience of manual turning is essential.
The right candidate will be able to work under their own initiative after a period of settling in.
Experience of Fusion 360 a bonus but not essential.
